About international youth cooperation

 Youth cooperation is one of the most important areas for the development of friendly and partnership relations between the states.

 The priority objectives of state youth policy of the Russian Federation in the field of international youth cooperation are:

     ·  supporting the participation of Russian youth and youth associations in international structures as well as in the work of international forums, conferences and festivals,

     ·  active involvement of youth in the process of development of the Eurasian Economic Union, strengthening the common humanitarian space of the Commonwealth of Independent            States and attracting promising foreign youth to the implementation of Russian socio-economic projects,

     ·  assistance in the implementation of bilateral youth exchange programs as well as the development of cooperation with youth organizations of compatriots living abroad.
 Today in Russia international cooperation in the youth sphere is implemented at the all levels (federal, regional, municipal) and in various forms including bilateral cooperation with    individual countries at the foundation of intergovernmental agreements and multilateral cooperation with the UN, the CIS, the SCO, BRICS, etc.
 The main governing and coordinating bodies in the field of international youth cooperation in Russia are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the   Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the National Youth Council of Russia.
