The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is the intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture, science and education of July 8, 1997.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Pakistan will create conditions and encourage cooperation between state institutions dealing with youth issues and youth organizations of both countries and promote the exchange of information in the field of youth policy.
Pakistan participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The All Pakistan Youth Federation is part of the World Assembly of Youth.
