The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic is part of the Government of the Italian Republic.

The main goals of the ministry are the implementation of Italian foreign policy, the representation and protection of Italian interests, the implementation of political, economic, social and cultural relations with foreign countries and international organizations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic is responsible for the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Italian Republic on Cooperation on Youth of January 15, 2001.
