The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is the Agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation of December 14, 1995.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Côte d'Ivoire will create favorable conditions for contacts and exchange between state bodies and institutions dealing with youth policy as well as between youth organizations of both countries.
Côte d'Ivoire participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
