The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea is the intergovernmental Agreement on cultural cooperation of November 19, 1992.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and South Korea will encourage cooperation and exchanges between youth and youth organizations of two countries.
The National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea is part of the World Assembly of Youth as well as a member of the Asian Youth Council.
