The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ecuador is the Agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation of April 24, 1996.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Ecuador will develop cooperation between organizations and youth associations and encourage contacts between young people of both countries.
Ecuador participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The Children’s, Youth and Community Center of Ecuador is a member of the World Assembly of Youth.
