The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and Mongolia is the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of September 3, 2019.

In accordance with the Treaty, Russia and Mongolia are expanding and deepening cooperation, contributing to the activation of direct links between educational and educational institutions as well as the popularizing the Russian and Mongolian languages and exchange between youth and sports organizations.

Youth cooperation between Russia and Mongolia is also carried out in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Mongolia on cultural and scientific cooperation of April 5, 1995.

The agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation provides for the promotion of cooperation between representatives of creative youth of Russia and Mongolia in order to better mutually familiarize themselves with the spiritual values ​​of the Russian and Mongolian peoples.

The Mongolian Youth Federation is part of the World Assembly of Youth and the Asian Youth Council.
