The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka is the Agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation of January 26, 1999.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Sri Lanka will create favorable conditions for contacts and exchange between youth organizations.
The National Youth Services Council of Sri Lanka is affiliated to the World Assembly of Youth.
