Basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth

The basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth was established in accordance with the decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government dated June 7, 2016.

The status of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth was assigned to the Moscow Technological University (currently MIREA–Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA). 

The purpose of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth is to improve the scientific, analytical, informational and methodological support of youth workers in order to increase the effectiveness of youth policy in the CIS Member States.

Main activities:

The basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth annually informs the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States about its activities.

The organization of the activities of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth is provided by the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA.
