Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund for of the CIS Member States

The Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund for of the CIS Member States (IHCF) operates on the basis of the Treaty dated May 25, 2006 which was joined by 9 CIS Member States: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the Fund is to promote the development of a common humanitarian space and intercultural dialogue in the CIS by supporting and implementing joint events (projects) in the field of culture, education, science, preservation of cultural heritage, information and mass communications, sports, tourism, work with youth.

Every year in January, based on the results of the competition, a Plan-estimate of activities (projects) implemented with the support of the Fund is formed. It also includes activities (projects) in the direction of "Development of cooperation between youth of the CIS Member States". The announced projects should be aimed at involving young people in the development and strengthening of the common humanitarian space of the CIS.
