The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and Canada is the Treaty on Concord and Cooperation of June 19, 1992.
In accordance with the Treaty, Russia and Canada are helping to expand contacts between schools and higher educational institutions and youth organizations.
Canada participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Arctic Council.
The Canada World Youth is part of the World Assembly of Youth.
