The National Institute for Higher Education of the Republic of Belarus was established in 2004. It is part of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The National Institute for Higher Education of the Republic of Belarus provides advanced training and retraining of personnel and also conducts scientific research including in the field of youth work.

The Institute is a partner of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth on the issues of advanced training and the implementation of the project "E-library of a youth worker in the CIS."
