Youth Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission

The active involvement of Russian youth in the process of development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is one of the priorities of the international cooperation of the Russian Federation in the field of youth policy.

The EAEU is the international organization for regional economic integration established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union which entered into force on January 1, 2015. The EAEU Member States are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

In 2019 the Youth Council, the voluntary association of officials and employees of the Eurasian Economic Commission, was established under the Eurasian Economic Commission (the permanent regulatory body of the EAEU).

The goal of the Youth Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission is to popularize the idea of ​​Eurasian integration, develop youth cooperation within the EAEU including through interaction with youth associations of state bodies of the EAEU countries as well as other youth organizations of the EAEU Member States and third countries.

The Youth Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission cooperates with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Association of Youth Governments of the Russian Federation, the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
