The National Delphic Council of Russia was established in 1999. One of the main tasks of the Council is the development of the international Delphic movement.
The Delphic Games are complex competitions in such disciplines as artistic, applied and research creativity.
The main international projects of the National Delphic Council of Russia:
- Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States (held since 2002 in accordance with the decision of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS),
- Youth European Delphic Games (held since 2014),
- Youth Arctic Delphic Games (first held in 2022).
Goals of the Youth Delphic Games:
- support for creatively gifted children and youth,
- promoting the preservation and development of national cultures,
- promotion of intercultural dialogue,
- improvement of forms of aesthetic education and art education,
- promotion of professional growth of young cultural figures,
- strengthening ties between countries and developing youth cooperation.
