The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Argentine Republic is the Intergovernmental Agreement on cultural cooperation of November 25, 1997.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Argentina promote the development of cooperation between organizations and youth associations, between youth of both countries.
Argentina participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The National Youth Council of Argentina is part of the World Assembly of Youth.
