The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Croatia is the Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture of December 18, 1998.In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Croatia will promote the development of comprehensive ties between youth of both countries.
Croatia participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Council of Europe.
The Croatian National Youth Council (Mreža mladih Hrvatske) is part of the World Assembly of Youth and the European Youth Forum.
