The Presidential Grants Foundation has been the single operator of state support for non-profit non-governmental organizations in the Russian Federation since April 3, 2017.
The Foundation allocates grants from the President of the Russian Federation for the implementation of socially significant projects of Russian non-profit non-governmental organizations including in the areas of "Support for youth projects" and "Development of public diplomacy and support for compatriots" on a competitive basis.
The mission of the Foundation is to create the conditions and opportunities for self-realization of initiative and caring people in the non-profit sector.
The objectives of the Foundation:
- Providing support for non-profit organizations
- Development of a system of competencies in the field of social design and project management
- Increasing the effectiveness of solving social problems based on combining efforts and partnerships
- Dissemination of best practices in grant activities
- Development of charity and volunteering
The Foundation accepts projects for the competition two times a year:
from February 1 to March 15 (announcement of the results is in June, start of projects is from July 1),
from September 1 to October 15 (announcement of the results in January of the next year, start of projects is from February 1 of the next year).
