The foundation for the development of youth relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Colombia is the intergovernmental Agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation of November 26, 1997.
In accordance with the Agreement, Russia and Colombia will encourage cooperation between organizations and youth associations, direct contacts between young people of both countries.
The Republic of Colombia participates in the development of international youth cooperation through the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The Colombia’s National Youth Council is part of the World Assembly of Youth.
