One of the tasks of state cultural policy of the Russian Federation in the field of expanding and supporting international cultural and humanitarian ties is to promote the cooperation of Russian public organizations working with children and youth with similar public organizations in foreign countries.

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation:

• is a partner of various international youth projects and programs (for example, in 2019 in Vienna under the auspices of the Russian-Austrian Year of Youth Exchanges the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation together with the Office of the Federal Chancellor of Austria and the Ministry of Women, Family and Youth of the Republic of Austria organized the Russian-Austrian youth creative platform bringing together young specialists in the field of culture, artists and students of creative universities of two countries), 
• is a permanent member of the Russian-French Committee for Youth Exchanges.
