Foundation "Russian-Polish Centre for Dialogue and Agreement"

The Foundation "Russian-Polish Centre for Dialogue and Agreement" was established on October 14, 2011 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

The founder of the Foundation on behalf of the Russian Federation is the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The goals of the Foundation are to expand humanitarian cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Poland in the field of culture, science and education and to promote the Russian-Polish dialogue.

The Foundation’s tasks:

  • ensuring a dialogue between state authorities and local self-government, political, scientific, educational, cultural centers, industrial and business, public, religious organizations and experts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Poland, 
  • promoting the study of the history, national heritage and culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Poland, the history of Russian-Polish relations, 
  • promoting the dissemination of knowledge about the history, national heritage and the culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Poland in Russian and Polish societies, 
  • strengthening mutual understanding between Russian and Polish societies on the problems of history, national heritage and culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Poland, the history of Russian-Polish relations, 
  • creation of favorable conditions for the development of Russian-Polish political and economic relations, cultural, scientific and educational contacts.

The Russian-Polish youth forums organized by the National Youth Council of Russia were held with the support of the Foundation in 2014-2015.
