The XIV International Youth Camp "Dialogue" will take place from August 14 to 18, 2023 (August 13 is the day of arrival, August 19 is the day of departure) at the ethnographic park-museum "ETNOMIR".
The camp is part of the Action Plan for 2023-2024 for the implementation of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for 2021-2030.
The goal of the camp is to organize an educational communication platform bringing together young leaders from the Russian Federation, the CIS Member States and other foreign countries working in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations with the purpose to strengthen friendly and professional ties, consolidate experience, improve professional skills and competencies, develop further cooperation and implementing joint projects.
Tasks:
- to create conditions for the exchange of experience and the formation of a community of young leaders from the Russian Federation, the CIS Member States and other foreign countries interested in developing further cooperation and implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations,
- to increase the participants' intercultural competence and develop professional and trans-professional skills facilitating the development and implementation of projects aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations,
- to identify and consider current problems and challenges to strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations (including extremism, nationalism and xenophobia) among the participants and in society as a whole as well as discuss ways to respond to them and develop possible responses through joint projects,
- to promote the development and implementation of projects aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations,
- to present the experience, approaches and successful practices of the Russian Federation in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations, to talk about existing opportunities and resources for implementing projects aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations.
The XIV International Youth Camp "Dialogue" will bring together 100 participants interested in expanding public relations and cooperation as well as implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations.
The participants will be represented by three main groups:
- 60 young leaders from the Russian Federation,
- 20 young leaders from the CIS Member States,
- 20 young leaders from other foreign countries.
- to be between 18 and 35 years old,
- to be a representative of a youth public organization / a representative of an informal youth association / a representative of a student organization / a representative of a youth ethnic organization / a representative of the youth wing of national-cultural autonomy / a representative of a student community / a representative of an association of foreign students / a young ethno-journalist / a young ethnoblogger / a young man with a ready-made project or the idea of a project aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations,
- to be motivated and able to organize post-camp activities and projects in collaboration with the other camp participants,
- to be ready to disseminate and increase the knowledge acquired during the camp,
- to be ready to take part in all activities planned as part of the camp program,
- to be able to speak English or Russian.

The XIV International Youth Camp "Dialogue" is held jointly by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Youth Council of Russia and MIREA – Russian Technological University acting as the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth.
