On September 7, 2023 at 14:00 (Moscow time) the Commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on Volunteering and Youth Policy and MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) are holding a presentation of the collection "30 years of state youth policy of the Russian Federation" in Moscow.
In the collection published by the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and dedicated to the anniversary:
- the main stages of the formation and development of state youth policy of Russia, its priority directions are considered,
- the regulatory and legal support of the State Medical Transport Program and the current state of its infrastructure are analyzed,
- particular attention is paid to the activities of youth public associations and issues of international cooperation in the field of youth policy.
The following persons will deliver a speech at the presentation:
Dmitry Pokrovsky, the Director of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (as agreed)
Denis Ashirov, the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (as agreed)
Elena Rodionova, the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on Volunteering and Youth Policy
Andrey Platonov, the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Work of the Russian State University of Social Sciences, the Chairman of the Council of Vice-Rectors for Youth Policy and Educational Activities (as agreed)
Grigory Petushkov, the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy of RTU MIREA
The authors will present a brief overview of the collection and answer questions from the participants of the presentation:
Andrey Kochetkov, the Professor of the Department of Public Service and Personnel Policy of RANEPA, the Doctor of Law (author of the introductory article "State youth policy of the Russian Federation: from Decree to Law" and the final article)
Tatyana Novikova, the Chairman of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Youth Affairs in 1996–1998. (author of chapter 1 “How it all began – the 1990s”)
Olga Popova, the Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia (the author of Chapter 3 "Youth Public Associations of the Russian Federation")
Dina Sokolova, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA (the author of Chapter 2 "The state and development of the infrastructure of youth policy in the Russian Federation" and Chapter 4 "International cooperation of the Russian Federation in the field of youth policy")
People invited to participate in the online broadcast of the presentation are:
- representatives of government bodies involved in the implementation of state youth policy,
- representatives of youth public associations,
- employees of educational organizations responsible for working with youth,
- youth policy researchers.
