The meeting became a joint event in the field of strengthening international youth cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.
The purpose was development of international youth cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.
Participants were 81 people. They were students and graduate students, young professionals, leaders and project managers of youth public organizations/associations interested in implementing initiatives in their countries.
Within the framework of the meeting opening with a speech by guests of honor and organizers, the work of sessions "Youth Media" and "Prospects for youth cooperation" summing up results of the meeting with proposals for cooperation took place.
At the opening of the meeting the Director of the Department of State Youth Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Denis Ashirov, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kattakhanov Dilnozahon Sobir kizi, the Deputy Director of the Third Department of the CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Andreevich Musienko had a speech. The Director of the Republican Center for Career Guidance and Psychological and Pedagogical Diagnostics under the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Liliya Rifkatovna Gainutdinova, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Chairman of the children's organization "Kamalak" Indira Abdukarimovna Holdarova, the Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan Mikhail Valerievich Vozhdaev also spoke.
On behalf of organizers participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia, the Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA Grigory Valerievich Petushkov, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farrukh Farkhodzhonovich Omonov, the Director of the MSU Information and Analytical Center Daria Yuryevna Chizhova.
Participants together with experts discussed possibilities of interaction between youth media and prospects for youth cooperation and shared their experience.
The event served as a platform for promoting joint Russian-Uzbek ideas and projects.

The international meeting was held to strengthen friendly ties and develop cooperation between youth, youth organizations, state structures of Uzbekistan and Russia, promote joint interaction of public organizations and authorities working with youth on the territory of Uzbekistan and Russia, promote the implementation of joint youth ideas/projects including interregional ones.

As a part of the meeting experts and participants supported holding a forum in 2021 in a hybrid format, noted the importance of developing research projects, projects on youth entrepreneurship and youth media. They outlined the need to create conditions for the professional development of personnel in the media sector and the international information platform for close interaction between two countries, emphasized the relevance of digitalization of education. Participants also focused on the development of interuniversity cooperation in the educational and scientific fields, noted the need to increase the number of joint events with the participation of experts in various youth areas.
