The forum is held annually. It is an important joint event of youth cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. The seventh forum was organized in 2021.

The forum was held in a hybrid format (in person and online) and included several blocks of the program among them opening with speeches by guests of honor and organizers, the work of thematic sections, summing up the results of the meeting with proposals for cooperation, master classes and the cultural and leisure program.

Participants were representatives of republican / federal, regional youth public and student organizations, students, leaders of youth movements / organizations, leaders of youth projects, experts and guests. In total 72 people participated there.

The main topics of the forum were:

  • "Youth business projects", trends in youth business ideas, their support and motivation, prospects for youth business cooperation,
  • "Youth tourism", the concept of youth tourism, tourism trends, promotion and development of tourism, 
  • Development of youth bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Russia in various humanitarian areas. 

An application campaign was organized to participate in the forum including through the ADS Youth of Russia and through the Google form (246 applications). As a result of the selection, the invitation was sent to 210 people with a link to an online connection to participate in the forum.

In addition to the main program, within the framework of the forum, sites of the International Volunteer Program “Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World” were held. Svetlana Ulyanova, the head of the Russian Language Ambassadors in the World program, also spoke at the session of the Forum “Development of Bilateral Youth Cooperation between Armenia and Russia” and shared her experience of past educational expeditions of the Russian language ambassadors that were held in Armenia.

Also, within the framework of the forum, at the site of the all-Russian public organization "Union of Russian Armenians", the separate meeting of the participants with the President of the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Russian Armenians, Abrahamyan Ara Arshavirovich, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia, the Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA Grigory Valerievich Petushkov and the Deputy Director of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs Stanislav Anatolievich Bedkin took place. 

Results

An annual bilateral youth forum was held to strengthen friendly ties and develop cooperation between youth, youth organizations, state structures of Armenia and Russia, to promote the implementation of joint youth ideas and projects. As a part of the event young people together with experts analyzed the current state of relations between two countries in the field of humanitarian cooperation and proposed prospects for further cooperation.

As a result of the event, participants made proposals for the resolution including to expand cooperation with relevant state structures of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia in the field of non-formal education of specialists in working with youth as well as to promote the organization of bilateral events for the exchange of experience. They also decided to form a roadmap of tourist programs in Russia and Armenia for the development of youth scientific and industrial tourism as well as to focus on regional tourism with the involvement of specialists from related fields of scientific knowledge and expert practitioners. Moreover, participants suggested to increase the number of sports projects provided free of charge for schoolchildren and students from the municipalities of Russia and Armenia and others.
