The forum is the joint event in the field of strengthening international youth cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.
Participants are young people aged 18 to 35 from Russia and Uzbekistan including students and graduate students, young professionals, leaders and project managers of youth public organizations / associations interested in implementing initiatives in their countries. In total 89 people participated there.
An application campaign was organized to participate in the forum through the ADS Youth of Russia and through the Google form (217 applications). As a result of the selection, the invitation was sent to 162 people with a link to an online connection to participate in the forum.
The event included opening with a greeting of honored guests of the participating states, workshop session “Youth media and social networks: creating our own brand”, session and foresight session “Russia and Uzbekistan - prospects for cooperation and challenges”, thematic session: “World 2.0: ecology, digitalization and visual culture”, discussion and sectional platforms “Analytics, research and prospects: young science in Russia and Uzbekistan” and “Prospects for youth development: business, ecology and projects in culture”. In addition to the working blocks, an excursion and cultural program and a master class were prepared for the participants.
At the opening of the forum, representatives of the Government of the Samara Region, the Committee of the Federation Council on International Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Youth Council of Russia, the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan, Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute for the Study problems of youth and training of promising personnel under the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Fund for the Development of Science and Education "Ziyo Forum" of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The participants, together with experts, discussed the possibilities of interaction and the prospects for youth cooperation in general, shared their experience.
The event served as a platform for promoting joint Russian-Uzbek ideas and projects.
Results
A bilateral forum was held to strengthen friendly ties and develop cooperation between youth, youth organizations, government agencies of Uzbekistan and Russia, promoting joint interaction of public organizations and authorities working with youth on the territory of Uzbekistan and Russia, promoting the implementation of joint youth ideas / projects, including interregional ones.
As a result of the event, a number of proposals were received from the participants in the resolution of the forum, including: to make a plan for interdepartmental youth cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan for 2022, creation of a single portal for student and volunteer internships in the CIS in the languages of the CIS, creation of a multilingual mobile application to motivate young people for more conscious consumption with accrual of bonuses for completed stages (SDGs). It was also suggested to use relevant tools for promoting cultural projects: speaker packs, Instagram masks, a tik-tok platform for holding youth events, simplification and unification of processes for the exchange of cultural heritage and traditions between countries, strengthening support for projects of innovative technologies, projects in culture, creation of a regulatory framework for the organization of interstate NGOs in the field of volunteering, innovative technologies, projects in culture.
