The final stage of the international youth competition "100 ideas for the CIS" is aimed at attracting youth of countries to solve problems in the long-term innovative development of the economies of the CIS Member States, the development of scientific, innovative and socio-economic spheres.

In total representatives from seven CIS Member States including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan took part in the competition. The Russian Federation presented 10 projects-winners of the All-Russian competition "My country – my Russia".

The participants

Young people aged 14 to 35 years from the CIS Member States who presented original projects in eight categories including "Industrial technologies and production", "Chemical technologies and biotechnologies", "Culture", "Education", "Healthcare", "Medicine, medical equipment and technology, pharmacy", "Information technologies (IT-sphere)", "Hospitality: tourism and national culture". From the Russian Federation 10 people from the Vologda Region, the Krasnoyarsk Region, Moscow, the Rostov Region, the Ryazan Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, the Tambov Region participated there.

The key results

As a result of the competition three participants from Russia became winners, namely Alena Parfyonova with the project "Tactile Square "Light", Valeria Samoilenko with the project "STEP. Movement without borders" and Anna Arutyunova who presented the project on Innovative technologies for collecting and processing household waste.

Totally 10 winners were identified in several categories. Based on the results of the competition the best proposals were sent to the governments of all the participating countries to explore the possibility of their further implementation.
