The key topic of the forum was maintaining stability and ensuring security.
The program included the round table "The role of integration mechanisms in solving security problems", the training "The wheat from the chaff: methods of working with information for young researchers and journalists", the lecture "The Great Game in Central Asia: history and modernity", the interactive conversation "Mechanisms to counter extremist ideology among youth".
At the opening of the forum the welcoming words were delivered by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of the Department of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Tajikistan, the Deputy Executive Director of the branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Dushanbe, the First Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Students, graduate students, young teachers. 25 people from the Russian Federation participated there.
The key results
During the forum the experts and the participants discussed the issue of security, noted its relevance in the modern community and the fact that it is complex in nature affecting different areas. They also added that youth cooperation is an important component of friendly relations between countries and that the topic of maintaining stability and ensuring security in the Central Asian Region is the key in cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Russia. They agreed on the further cooperation in this direction and on other issues of youth policy in our countries.
