The forum became the joint event in the field of strengthening international youth cooperation between Russia and Moldova.

Participants: young people aged 18 to 35 from Russia and Moldova including students and graduate students, young professionals, leaders and project managers of youth public organizations/associations interested in implementing initiatives in their countries. There were 60 full-time participants.

An application campaign was organized for those wishing to participate in the forum using AIS Youth of Russia and Google form (131 applications). As a result of the selection, an invitation was sent to 126 people with the link to the online connection to participate in the forum.

The goal is to intensify dialogue and cooperation between youth associations and young people in Russia and Moldova.

Within the framework of the event, the following sessions took place: the opening with the greeting of the guests of honor of the participating states, the session "Actual vectors of bilateral youth cooperation between Moldova and Russia", the sections "Issues of interaction and prospects for the development of the volunteer movement" and "Development of bilateral cooperation on topical issues of youth/university sports", workshop for bilateral cooperation.

In addition to the working blocks, the excursion and cultural program and the master class were prepared for participants.

At the opening of the forum, Rodion Rolandovich Kokaev, the Deputy Head of the Department of International Youth Cooperation and Tourism of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Then Marin Marchel, the Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Moldova and Sergiu Goncherenko, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation continued. The last speaker was Grigory Valerievich Petushkov, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia, the Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA.

The event became the platform for youth dialogue and promotion of joint Russian-Moldovan ideas and projects.

Results

The bilateral forum was held to strengthen friendly ties and develop cooperation between youth, youth organizations, government agencies of Russia and Moldova, promotion of joint interaction of public organizations and authorities working with youth on the territory of Moldova and Russia, promoting the implementation of joint youth ideas and projects.

As the result of the event, several proposals concerning the resolution of the forum were received from the participants including the following: to make a plan for interdepartmental youth cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Moldova in 2022, to organize the Moldovan-Russian Forum in Chisinau in 2022. Moreover, there were ideas to create/designate the platform for the rapid exchange of information on events and projects of bilateral and multilateral youth cooperation for a larger number of participants from Moldova, to create an exchange program for the leaders of the volunteer movement of the two countries, expand cooperation on projects related to advanced training of specialists working with youth. Additionally, participants suggested to consider the possibility of celebrating the Day of Russian Youth in Moldova at the state level, to organize the practice of holding events under the auspices of the CIS on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, to organize mutual participation in significant sports events of the participating countries.
