On June 21, 2023 in Moscow on the eve of the Youth Day MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) and the Russian State Library for Young Adults will present the book "30 years of state youth policy of the Russian Federation".
The history of state youth policy of modern Russia is usually counted from the moment the issued Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 16, 1992 "On priority measures in the field of state youth policy", when the SYP was recognized as one of the priority areas of the socio-economic policy of our country.
In the collection published by the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation together with the National Youth Council of Russia and dedicated to the anniversary date:
- the main stages of the formation and development of state youth policy of Russia, its priority areas are considered,
- the regulatory and legal support of the SYP and the current state of its infrastructure are being analyzed,
- special attention is paid to the activities of youth public associations and issues of international cooperation in the field of youth policy.
The presentation will feature:
- Olga Petrova, the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (as agreed),
- Grigory Petushkov, the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy of RTU MIREA,
- Irina Mikhnova, the Director of the Russian State Library for Young Adults, the reviewer of the collection "30 years of state youth policy of the Russian Federation",
- Elena Rodionova, the Chairman of the Commission for Youth Affairs, Development of Volunteering and Patriotic Education of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation (as agreed).
The authors will present a brief overview of the book and answer questions from the presentation participants:
- Andrey Kochetkov, the Professor of the Department of Public Service and Personnel Policy of RANEPA, the Doctor of Law (author of the introductory article "State youth policy of the Russian Federation: from Decree to Law" and the final article),
- Tatyana Novikova, the Chairman of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Youth Affairs in 1996–1998 (author of chapter 1 "How it all began – the 90s of the XX century"),
- Olga Popova, the Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia (author of Chapter 3 "Youth Public Associations of the Russian Federation"),
- Dina Sokolova, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA (author of Chapter 2 "State and development of youth policy infrastructure in the Russian Federation" and Chapter 4 "International cooperation of the Russian Federation in the field of youth policy").
To the presentation the following groups are invited:
- representatives of public authorities involved in the implementation of state youth policy,
- representatives of youth public associations,
- employees of educational organizations responsible for youth work,
- youth policy researchers.
The presentation will take place at 15:00 at the Russian State Library for Young Adults.
