The international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS" is carried out in order to implement the Agreement of the CIS Member States on cooperation in the field of youth work of November 25, 2005 and the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States and the national legislation of the CIS Member States. The project was initiated in 2013 at the meeting of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States. On June 1, 2018 the Decision of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS was adopted on the International Youth Project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS". 

The participants: Young people aged 14 to 35 years from the CIS Member States who presented original projects in eight categories such as "Industrial technologies and production", "Chemical technologies and biotechnologies", "Culture", "Education", "Healthcare", "Medicine, medical equipment and technologies, pharmacy", "Information technologies (IT-sphere)", "Hospitality: tourism and national culture". 

The participants were 44 young people from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The Russian delegation was represented by 10 people from among the graduates of the All-Russian competition "My country – my Russia" from the cities including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen, Nyandoma, Penza, Kursk, Lipetsk, Voronezh. In total 13 people from the Russian Federation took part.

The goal of the project is to activate the innovative activities of youth of the CIS Member States, to involve them in solving the problems of socio-economic development of the CIS Member States.

The project lasts for two years and consists of two stages: national (qualifying) and international (final).

In 2021 the final stage of the international youth project "100 ideas for the CIS" took place.

Several preparatory meetings and meetings of the Organizing Committee of the international stage took place to prepare for participation in the finals. 

On March 18 the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the international stage (final) of the international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS" was held online. The meeting was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and employees of the CIS Executive Committee. On the part of the Russian Federation the Organizing Committee included the assistant of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation R. Voitekhovsky, the Advisor to the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation R. Kokaev, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia G. Petushkov, the Vice-Rector for Project Activities of the Russian State University for the Humanities, the Scientific Director, the author of the concept of the competition "My country – my Russia" L. Pastukhova, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of MIREA – Russian Technological University D. Bunkin.

During the meeting the members of the Committee discussed the selection of original projects in countries, preparation of the competition for holding, proposals for the formation of an Expert Council to evaluate projects in the finals.

On September 15 the plenary meeting of the international meeting "Commonwealth of Our Countries" was held in Kaliningrad in a hybrid format.

The speakers at the meeting included the Director of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation D. Ashirov, the Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo D. Polikanov, the Rector of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University A. Fedorov, the Head of the Department of Assessment and Methodology of the ANO "Russia – Land of Opportunities" D. Guzhelya, the Head of the All-Russian competition "My country – my Russia", the Vice-Rector for Project Activities of the Russian State University for the Humanities L. Pastukhova, the representative of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Youth Policy of International Relations at RTU MIREA D. Bunkin.

During the meeting the issues of conducting an international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS" were discussed and the organizational meeting of the Russian participants was held with the organizers of the final from Armenia.

On September 17 the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the international stage (final) of the international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 Ideas for the CIS" was held online. Representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Executive CIS took part in the meeting. Representatives of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth (RTU MIREA) participated from Russia. At the meeting they discussed the preparation of the final stage of the international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS" and the readiness of delegations from countries to participate in the final events of the project.

On October 6 the online organizational meeting of representatives of MIREA – Russian Technological University acting as the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth was held with the project participants from Russia in order to prepare the delegation.

The results

MIREA – Russian Technological University acting as the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth together with the directorate of the All-Russian competition "My country – my Russia" prepared a team of the delegation of the Russian Federation of the international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS." One of the experts at the final stages of the competition was the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of RTU MIREA A. Timoshenko. 

Based on the results of the final in Armenia 12 winners including three participants from Russia P. Berezhansky, J. Zhagaparova and V. Zaikin were selected. 

Based on the results of the competition the best proposals were sent to the governments of the Member States to explore the possibility of their further implementation. In accordance with the appeal of the CIS Executive Committee (Zhumakhanov B.M., letter November 4, 2021 No. 6-3/1545) received from the Office of the Government of the Russian Federation the basic organization of the CIS Member States prepared and sent letters requesting assistance in encouraging winners of the international youth project of the CIS Member States "100 ideas for the CIS" in the organizations which the project winners represented.
