The forum was held for the first time. The purpose was further development of cooperation between the Member States of the EAEU and the CIS, popularization of the idea of Eurasian integration, creation of new opportunities for the implementation of initiatives, social and professional self-realization of younger generation.
The opening was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov and the Chairman of the EEC Board Mikhail Myasnikovich.
The key event of the forum was the meeting of the delegates with the deputy heads of government of the EAEU countries, at which initiatives for the development of Eurasian integration were outlined, and the main topics such as "Youth integration in the Eurasian space", "Science and education", "Building career trajectories and development", "Youth tourism" were touched upon. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the EEC Council, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko. The Acting Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev also took part.
The forum included master classes for young entrepreneurs, sessions dedicated to international youth cooperation in the CIS space, expert meetings. Projects in the field of education were developed. The grant competition of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the "Clean Games" competition were organized at the forum site.
The forum was organized on behalf of the heads of government of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Participants: The delegates of the forum were young entrepreneurs, civil servants, representatives of creative youth, young diplomats and students from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.
The Russian delegation was represented by more than 24 people.
Key results: The event served as a platform for developing partnerships, expanding opportunities to support youth initiatives in the EAEU space.
Young people had the opportunity to freely discuss their initiatives with the heads of government and representatives of relevant departments and exchange views.
The participants suggested a number of proposals such as inclusion of soft skills in general education programs, active development of online education platforms and programs of industrial practices and internships, creation of a fund or academic mobility program for young scientists and teachers in the EAEU space, development of the volunteer movement in educational institutions of the EAEU and CIS countries, scaling the Belarusian project "Volunteer Navigator" to the countries. It was also decided to develop a concept for the implementation of youth tourism in the CIS countries and the EAEU which will become a guideline and will contribute to the development of youth entrepreneurship, to create a platform that will unite creative youth of the CIS countries into a community through events, job seekers and employers to search for employees, to create a community of young entrepreneurs of the Eurasian Economic Union, to pay special attention to issues of intercultural interaction.
As a result, it was decided to hold the forum on a permanent basis.
