It is the annual international bilateral youth event that represents a platform for dialogue between young people and representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of two countries.
Main purposes of the event were:
- development of cooperation between representatives of youth public organizations and students of Russia and Azerbaijan,
- creation of conditions for the formation of bilateral projects and programs as well as for maintaining and strengthening friendship, interaction and mutual understanding of peoples,
- creating an educational space to increase youth participation, develop intercultural dialogue and humanitarian cooperation between youth of countries participating in the event.
During the event participants worked in profile groups developing proposals and ideas for strengthening and developing dialogue between two countries within the framework of youth cooperation. The work was carried out in sections "Youth for the economy – the economy for youth", "The world in youth hands", "Keeping traditions while building the future". As a part of the program participants also visited youth institutions in St. Petersburg and got acquainted with their activities, visited a theatrical performance in the Lensoviet Palace of Culture, visited the Hermitage and were on a sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg.
Participants were representatives of republican, federal, regional youth public and student organizations, leaders of youth movements, leaders of youth projects of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan. In total 50 people participated there.
Key results
As a result of the forum a resolution was adopted.
