In order to improve the skills of youth workers of the CIS Member States an internship following the results of distant learning courses under the programs "Organization of youth work in the CIS" and "Organization of international youth cooperation" was organized.
As part of the program the participants met with representatives of the Department of Youth Policy of the Orenburg Region, the Department of Youth Policy of the Administration of Orenburg. They visited the Multifunctional Youth Center "Youth of Orenburg", the Youth Centre of the City of Orenburg and Orenburg State Pedagogical University where they got acquainted with the main youth areas and projects of the Orenburg Region.
The trainees exchanged their work experience and presented their practices of working with youth, learned in detail about the activities of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth, worked at the workshop session "Prospects for the development of interregional youth cooperation", got acquainted with the history of Orenburg and its main attractions.
Participants: The delegation included employees of federal (republican), regional, municipal structures implementing youth policy, youth workers and employees of youth organizations and educational institutions, representatives of public organizations from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia (Astrakhan, Vladimir, Kaliningrad, Makhachkala, Moscow, Orel, Orenburg, Petrozavodsk, Saratov). 36 people participated there.
Key results: For youth workers the basics of state youth policy and international youth cooperation, practices of international and interregional cooperation in the CIS were presented. The activities for the implementation of youth policy of the Orenburg Region were presented as an example of the regional work of state youth policy in the Russian Federation.
As part of the group work an idea about a systematic approach to organizing youth work, about the prospects for the development of youth policy in the regions of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and in the CIS as a whole was formed.
