In order to cultivate the work of participating states in improving skills of youth workers, promoting the exchange of experience the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "MIREA - Russian Technological University" (hereinafter - RTU MIREA), the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth together with partner organizations held an online meeting - a seminar "Training, retraining and advanced training of youth workers in the Commonwealth space".
As a part of the event representatives of the CIS Member States exchanged the experience of countries on practices of training youth workers, interesting methods and forms of work, main programs and interesting projects. They also discussed possibilities of interaction between States on the topic of the meeting.
Participants were 25 people. They were representatives of the CIS Member States that carry out activities for the training, retraining and advanced training of youth workers including representatives of higher education institutions, representatives of the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth, representatives of research centres, representatives of government agencies.
Results
- An online seminar was held to promote the implementation of training and professional development programs, the exchange of experience of youth workers, exchange of information and experience on forms and methods of education including network advanced training in the CIS. It also was held for expanding the possibility of distance learning for youth workers in the CIS.
- Based on data provided by the CIS Member States a draft informational and analytical report on the experience of countries "On the experience of organizing the training of youth workers in the CIS Member States" was prepared.
