The forum is one of the key annual events of the Russian-Kazakh cooperation implemented in order to strengthen friendly ties between youth of two countries, exchange experience between young people and search for new topics and contacts for joint initiatives.

At the opening of the forum the participants were welcomed by the Deputy Director of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Negrova, the Minister of Education and Science of the Astrakhan Region Egor Ugarov. The Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Baimuldinov, the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astrakhan Ardak Madiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia Grigory Petushkov and the Rector of Tatishchev Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov also welcomed the participants. 

As part of the event the plenary session "Modern challenges and prospects for the development of youth innovative entrepreneurship in Russia and Kazakhstan", parallel tracks "Breakthrough technologies of the 21st century: developments of the future" and "Accessible linguistic environment: the foundations of barrier-free communication", the discussion platform "Technological platforms for Youth Entrepreneurial Initiatives" were organized. The master class "Unspoken business rules you need to know to win", the session "New economy: the potential of youth entrepreneurship" took place. The master class "Innovations in Biomechanics", "Esports team building", session "B2B: communication without borders", the visionary lecture "Metaverse", immersive show, master class "Smart kitchen. Delicious grant application constructor", the historical and cultural quest "Following Kurmangazy’s footsteps in the lower reaches of the Volga", business tinder as well as the excursion and educational program with a visit to the FABRIKA Technopark. Business incubator were also organized. 

Participants: young people aged 18 to 35 from Russia and Kazakhstan, including students and activists with original startup projects, specialists in the development of youth entrepreneurship in universities, employees of departments implementing youth policy in Russia and Kazakhstan. More than 123 people in total (participants, speakers, experts, organizers, volunteers) participated there. 

Partners: the Information and Analytical Centre for the Study of Socio-Political Processes in the Post-Soviet Space, Tatishchev Astrakhan State University, the National Youth Council of Russia. 

Key results: The Forum acted as a platform for the cooperation between young entrepreneurs, representatives of public organizations and educational institutions of Russia and Kazakhstan.

Following the results of the event the participants made proposals to the resolution including organization of the next Kazakh-Russian Youth Forum in 2023 on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in full-time format, continue to expand cooperation between youth organizations of the participating countries and relevant state structures of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan for the development of bilateral projects in the field of youth entrepreneurship. They also suggested to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of educating young people in the spirit of universal values, tolerance, friendship and a culture of peace, respect for each other's culture, language, history and traditions, the involvement of young people in the preservation and enhancement of the cultural heritage of our peoples. It was decided to promote the exchange of information on the development and implementation of youth projects, events in the participating countries, the exchange of materials on the implementation of youth policy between the state structures of Kazakhstan and Russia, to promote the implementation of more bilateral and multilateral events aimed at developing bilateral youth entrepreneurship in Russia and Kazakhstan. Moreover, the participants suggested to organize a special platform (or identify an existing platform) for training and knowledge sharing in the field of youth entrepreneurship of representatives of our countries, to create a single startup platform (online) for young entrepreneurs in Russia and Kazakhstan to promote projects and seek financial support, to attract representatives of medium and large businesses to participate in youth activities on entrepreneurial activity, to expand the boundaries of youth interaction on topical issues, including focusing on youth exchanges.
