The World Friendship Games will be held in Moscow and Yekaterinburg from September 15 to 29, 2024.
Candidates for the World Friendship Games volunteer programme are registered on the official website until the end of July 2024.
The stages of the World Friendship Games volunteer programme:
- March-July – acceptance of applications,
- April-July – selection of candidates, interviews,
- July-August – formation of the volunteer team,
- August – training of volunteers,
- September - shifts and final event for volunteers.
A volunteer candidate must:
- be over 18 years of age,
- attend at least 6 shifts between September 15 and 29,
- be able to speak English (for selected functions),
- be a member of the Dobro.rf platform,
- be able to work in a team,
- be willing to undergo all stages of selection and training.
The organisers provide:
- a unique set of equipment,
- a training programme,
- meals during the shifts,
- accommodation for non-resident volunteers,
- free public transport,
- life insurance.
What volunteers will do:

Providing a high level of services for the participants (interaction with athletes and delegations, referees, spectators, journalists),

Providing support to the Organising Committee during the operational period (facilities management, planning),

Ensuring a high level of sports competition (sports timekeeping, sports results registration and processing, competition organisation, technology, signage and signposting, ceremonies).
