An important part of the School's educational program in 2024 will be the Global Security Studies Forum "Youth and Mentors" which will be held on its site to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the PIR Center founded in 1994.
Diplomats, military officers, scientists, experts, researchers, students, journalists, public figures and representatives of international organisations are invited to participate.
The School is open to the participants from Russia and foreign countries actively interested in the development of global and regional security.
Graduates of the School will join the PIR Center's international community of international experts, the "Under the PIR Sign" Community.
The main thematic areas of the educational program are:
- The three pillars of the nuclear non-proliferation regime and how to manage nuclear risks,
- The factor of chemical and biological weapons in world politics,
- The problem of the collapse of the arms control regime and the phenomenon of nuclear deterrence,
- Cyber threats of the modern world and tools to counter challenges in the information sphere in the post-truth era,
- OSINT and digital hygiene issues,
- The impact of new technologies on regional and global security, warfare and the development of states and societies,
- Trends of modern armed conflicts and specifics of peace processes,
- The phenomenon of hybrid wars and transnational threats to security,
- key actors of global and regional security and the specifics of their behaviour.
