The training seminar "50/50" for youth workers from the authorities and public organisations of the CIS Member States will be held from May 19 to 25, 2024 including arrival and departure days in Moscow and will bring together representatives from the governmental and non-governmental sectors of youth policy sphere of the CIS Member States.
The training seminar "50/50" is held to develop the system of training and professional development of youth workers encouraging new approaches and promoting the policy of interaction between different actors involved in the development and implementation of youth policy in the CIS at different levels.
The purpose:
To organize an educational communication platform uniting youth workers of the Commonwealth of Independent States in order to strengthen friendly and professional ties, consolidate experience, improve professional skills and competencies, develop further cooperation to improve the effectiveness of youth policy in the CIS Member States.
The objectives of the training seminar:
- to create conditions for exchange of experience and formation of a community of youth workers of the CIS Member States interested in the development of further cooperation,
- to discuss the current state of youth policy in the CIS Member States,
- to present the experience, approaches and successful practices of the CIS Member States in the sphere of youth policy and organization of youth work,
- to identify and consider current challenges in the sphere of youth policy in the CIS, and to discuss ways to respond to them,
- to develop professional and supra-professional skills of youth workers of the CIS Member States necessary for work in the sphere of youth policy in the CIS,
- to support an open dialogue and cooperation between representatives of governmental and non-governmental sectors of the youth policy sphere of the CIS Member States for effective implementation of the Strategy of International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for 2021-2030 and youth policy in the CIS.
