The international competition of youth projects "Book of the Future – 2024" has been announced.
The purpose of the competition is to support and develop youth initiatives to promote and publicize reading, to provide conditions for professional development of the creative population of the subjects of the Russian Federation and the CIS Member States, to assist in the implementation of socially significant projects.
The nominations of the competition:
- "New Reading Formats" – individual or group projects devoted to new ways and formats of reading taking into account the current and future level of development of techniques and technologies.
- "Social Advertising" – advertising projects (photo, video, posters) aimed at promoting reading in traditional or new formats.
- "Promotion on the Net" – individual or group Internet projects aimed at promoting reading in modern or new formats.
- "Social actions and projects" – individual or group actions, events held in person or in a hybrid format aimed at promoting reading in traditional or new formats.
- "Illustration of the Future" – free subject matter, the format of the competition work, a series of illustrations (from 3 to 10) made taking into account the possible placement on modern and future book media.
Citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign countries aged 14 to 35 inclusive are invited to participate in the competition. Participation in the competition can be both individual and collective.
It is necessary to send an application to orgfuturebook@yandex.ru until April 27, 2024 for participation in the competition containing the following electronic files:
- presentation of the project (or competition work),
- text file with the following information:
- nomination,
- project name,
- short description of the project (up to 350 characters),
- author/team of the project (full name, date of birth, place of study or work, education, achievements, contact information, including social networks, address, phone number, e-mail),
- links to the placement of information about the project on the Internet (can also be provided in the presentation),
- consent to the processing of personal data by the competition organizers.
For the participants under 18 years of age it is necessary to attach the consent for processing personal data from parents or legal representatives.
Other requirements for the project:
- absence in the description of the project of information that does not correspond to reality (unreliable information),
- the project must not contradict the legislation of the Russian Federation and the subject of the competition.
It is strictly forbidden to use other people's ideas (fully or partially). In case of non-compliance with this condition, the project and the Participant shall be disqualified from participation in the competition.
The results of the contest will be published on the official websites of the competition organizers mospolytech.ru and bookunion.ru.
The short-list of the best projects selected for participation in the pitching of projects in Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg will be published no later than May 6, 2024.
An intensive on the art of pitching and self-presentation will be organized for the finalists. The winner gets the opportunity to implement the competition project within the framework of the activities of the competition organizers and partners. The projects that became prize-winners and took the second and third places receive awards from the members of the Competition Expert Council.
