The last day of acceptance applications for participation in the BRICS Expert School

From April 15 to 20, 2024 the BRICS Expert School will be held in Ulyanovsk. This event will bring together young people aimed at developing international relations

The BRICS Expert School is a full-fledged training at the foundation of cooperation with the BRICS Member States for students, graduate students, young scientists, diplomats, social activists and journalists from Russia aged 18 to 35 years.

During the training the participants from different parts of Russia will have the opportunity to learn about interaction within the BRICS association in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, and will also take part in discussions, trainings, expand their professional horizons, develop communication skills, learn about the history, ideology and values of BRICS.

The mentors will be leading Russian and foreign experts, representatives of government and non-government organizations, relevant ministries and departments, and research institutes with significant experience in studying BRICS issues.

A special part of the program of events of the BRICS Expert School will be the International Youth Forum of Public Diplomacy "InterYes! 4.0" which is the annual platform for discussing current issues in the development of public diplomacy in the world.

The best participants in the program will have the opportunity to receive priority consideration for participation in the BRICS Youth Summit which will be held in Ulyanovsk in the summer of 2024.

The working language of the event is English.

You must fill out an application before 23:59 (Moscow time) on March 22 using the link for participation in the competitive selection.

Winners will be sent an invitation and additional information by email.

The terms of participation:

the organizers cover the cost of accommodation and meals for the participants,
the participants pay their own travel to Ulyanovsk and back (with the exception of the authors of the best essays, their travel costs the organizers also cover).

The event is organized by the Project Office for International Youth Cooperation in the Russia-BRICS direction. Its functions are performed by the Foundation "Ulyanovsk – the Capital of Culture" and Rosmolodyozh with the support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
