In fulfilment of the agreements reached by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un during the summit at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, within the framework of the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on cultural cooperation and at the invitation of the Socialist Union of Patriotic Youth of the DPRK, from June 3 to 7, 2024 the leaders of Russian public youth organizations will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen friendly and professional ties between young leaders of Russia and the DPRK, exchange of experience in the implementation of youth policy, development of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects in education, science and high technology, entrepreneurship, agriculture, culture, sports, ecology and tourism.
The following are invited to participate as part of the delegation:
- Heads of member and partner organizations of the National Youth Council of Russia, all-Russian, interregional and regional youth public organizations,
- Heads of structures realizing youth policy,
- Vice-Rectors on youth policy,
- Heads of youth policy institutions.
The organizers will centrally assist in issuing entry permits (visas) and purchasing tickets to and from Pyongyang.
