The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund together with the Sputnik news agency and radio and Rossotrudnichestvo within the framework of the New Generation programme continues to accept applications for the InteRussia internship programme for foreign journalists from Asian countries.
The internship will take place from June 22 to July 20, 2024 in Moscow.
The InteRussia programme gives young foreign journalists the opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian agenda, learn from the experience of Sputnik's leading specialists, exchange experience with colleagues from different countries and visit renowned educational, research and socio-political platforms and events.
The participants will have the opportunity to meet leading Russian experts and analysts and colleagues from Russian news agencies for four weeks. In addition, they will attend a number of practical trainings, masterclasses and educational seminars on various aspects of the professional activities of media workers.
The internship topic is "Russia and Asia: Common Challenges and Points of Growth".
The working language is English.
Applications will be accepted until 23:59 (Moscow time) on May 10, 2024.
Applicants who fulfil the following requirements at the time of finalization of bids are eligible to participate:
- foreign citizenship,
- age 25-35 years,
- professional command of English (at least level B2),
- applicants for the internship will be selected on a competitive basis.
Selection criteria:
- professional experience of the applicant,
- professional level of the applicant's published works,
- results of the interview (in online format).
The following is necessary for applying:
- register on the English version of the Alexander Gorchakov Fund website,
- go to the "My Projects" tab in your profile and select "Create an application", there you should mark the name of the programme you are interested in and fill in the application form.
The results of the competition will be announced on May 13. All candidates will be informed about the results of the competition by e-mail.
The terms of participation:
- travelling from the applicant's place of residence to Moscow and back,
- double accommodation in a hotel,
- visa registration,
- medical insurance,
- a stipend for the duration of the internship in the amount of 30,000 roubles.
- meals for the duration of the internship,
- PCR test (if it is necessary and depending on the requirements at the time of arrival and stay).
